The title of this solo exhibition was borrowed from a line of poetry from the artist’s close friend who was a significant force in helping Michelle explore and embrace her adoptive and Irish/ Indian identity. In the process of travelling to India to her ‘Fatherland’ Michelle is finding expression for her female adult self through different artistic processes including painting / works on paper/ Installation and video. This exhibition was supported by The Ireland India Council.
